Vida Ventures is currently in market fundraising for its third biotech and life-science equity vehicle, targeting $750 million of LP capital commitments. The next-generation life sciences investment firm has previously raised $600 million for the oversubscribed predecessor fund.
The latest vehicle will seek a similar investment approach as its predecessors: targeting transformative biomedical and life-science innovation through the continuing support and development of the portfolios.
According to Private Equity International, the fund has already received a $75 million commitment from Texas County & District Retirement System in April 2021.
