Wellcome Trust investments returns boosted by PE
The Wellcome Trust investments returned 18 percent, or more than 2.6 billion pounds ($4.2 billion), in the year ended Sept. 30, boosted by more exposure to public and private equity since 2008, according to its annual results. Since inception, its investment has provided a total return averaging almost 14 per cent a year.
