WSIB approves $2.72bn in commitments

The US public pension has backed seven private equity funds.

Washington State Investment Board committed $75 million to Riverside Micro-Cap Fund V, $300 million to KKR European Fund V, $200 million to TCV X, $750 million each to TPG Partners VIII and Hellman & Friedman Capital Partners, $350 million to PAG Asia Capital III and $293 million to Triton Fund V.

The $129 billion US public pension has a 23 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 19 percent.
