Carlyle and Stellex acquire Vigor and MHI
The Carlyle Group and Stellex Capital Management have acquired Vigor Industrial LLC and MHI Holdings LLC. No financial terms were disclosed. Also, Carlyle and Stellex have named Jim Marcotuli as CEO of the newly combined company. Vigor is a diversified industrial business while MHI consists of three major providers serving the U.S. Navy, military sealift command, maritime administration and commercial ship owners and operators worldwide.
