EnerTech partners with ENMAX to commercialize utility tech
Venture capital firm EnerTech Capital has formed a strategic partnership with ENMAX Corp focused on emerging technologies in the utility industry. EnerTech and ENMAX, a Calgary provider of electricity to residential and commercial customers, will together explore commercialization strategies within ENMAX and opportunities available through the investor's global network. EnerTech, which has offices in Calgary, Montréal, Toronto and the United States, has invested in 63 energy and power companies since 1996. It is currently investing from its fourth fund, which raised $120 million in 2013.
