Adveq promotes secondaries head in Asia

Viswanathan Parameswar will now oversee all the firm’s Asia investments.

Adveq, the Swiss fund of funds manager, has promoted its head of secondaries Viswanathan Parameswar to executive director.

Parameswar is now responsible for Adveq’s primary investment, secondaries and direct co-investments in Asia.

David Seex remains as Adveq managing director & head of Asia-Pacific, responsible for investor relations and business development in the region.

Parameswar previously worked at Deloitte in its financial advisory group, and at Société Générale’s private equity division.

Sven Lidén, chief executive officer of Adveq said: “Param is an integral member of our investment management team; he gained valuable experience as head of our worldwide secondaries programme. Now, as the head of Adveq Asia, I am confident that his experience and his deep understanding of the Asian market will greatly benefit that programme.”

In October last year Adveq closed its second secondaries fund at its $175 million hard cap, beating its target of $150 million.
