Arlington County confirms $15m commitment

The US public pension has backed Peppertree Capital's eighth growth equity vehicle.

Arlington County Employees’ Retirement System has agreed to commit $15 million to Peppertree Capital Fund XIII, according to the pension’s recently released November 2019 Board meeting minutes. Peppertree’s flagship growth equity series targets investments in the TMT sector.

The $2.42 billion Virginia-based public pension has a 4.0 percent allocation to private equity.

As illustrated below, Arlington County has made one other commitment to a 2019-vintage private equity fund: $15 million to J.F. Lehman & Company’s Equity Investors V.
