ATRS approves $60m in commitments

The US public pension has backed two North American private equity funds.

Arkansas Teachers Retirement System (ATRS) has approved commitments of $30 million each to Arlington Capital Partners V and DW Healthcare Partners V, a contact at the pension informed Private Equity International.

The $17.49 billion US public pension has a 10.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 11.80 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, the fund has made eight commitments to private equity funds with a vintage of 2018 or 2019, which combined constitute $235 million.
