Sun Capital Partners Inc said April 23 that it completed the sale of Demilec to Huntsman Corp for $350 million. Demilec makes spray polyurethane foam insulation systems. Lazard and Piper Jaffray served as financial advisors to Demilec on the sale.

Trimble said April 23 that it agreed to buy Viewpoint from Bain Capital in a deal valued at $1.2 billion. Viewpoint, of Portland, provides scalable construction management software. JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, Goldman Sachs Bank USA and Bank of America NA are providing financing. Goldman Sachs & Co LLC served as financial adviser to Trimble and Baker McKenzie is serving as transaction counsel to Trimble. Skadden and Wilson Sonsini advised on debt-related matters. William Blair and Credit Suisse are serving as M&A advisers, and Kirkland & Ellis is serving as legal counsel to Viewpoint.
