Constitution Capital Partners said Feb. 1 it hired Daniel Clare as a partner and head of the firm’s new office in New York. Clare most recently worked as a Managing Director at Ascribe Capital, formerly known as American Securities Opportunities Fund.

Susquehanna International Group LLP said Jan. 31 that it has launched Susquehanna Private Capital LLC (SPC). SPC will target buyouts of middle market companies in the domestic U.S. in sectors including aerospace, industrials, consumer, healthcare, and business and government services. Susquehanna named Leo Helmers managing director and group head of SPC. Hemers was previously was managing partner of LMZ Partners as well as a managing director at the Carlyle Group.

SoundHound Inc said Jan. 31 that it raised $75 million in new funding. The round includes a strategic group of investors including NVIDIA GPU Ventures, Samsung Catalyst Fund, Nomura Holdings Inc, Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance Inc and RSI Fund I, a VC arm of Recruit Holdings. The round included new investors such as Kleiner Perkins, SharesPost 100 Fund, and MKaNN who joined previous investors Global Catalyst Partners, Walden Venture Capital, and TransLink Capital. SoundHound, of Santa Clara, California, provides voice-enabled AI and conversational intelligence technologies.

KKR Capstone said Jan. 31 that it appointed Claus Benkert as the Head of KKR Capstone Europe, effective from March 1st. Claus will also be a member of the KKR European Portfolio Management Committee. He joins KKR Capstone from McKinsey where led that firm's Munich office and was a member of McKinsey's German operating committee for the last decade.

ARX Equity Partners has agreed to buy Nutricia Deva, which does business as Deva, from Danone Group. Financial terms weren’t announced. Deva, of the Czech Republic, produces baby fruit desserts and fruit drinks. Keith Dilworth, a food industry entrepreneur, is also investing.

Compliance Solutions provides technology-enabled regulatory and compliance solutions to the financial services industry. Jim Casella, the former CEO of Asset International, is the chairman and CEO of the Compliance Solutions.

Richard Anton and Mikael Johnsson have launched Oxx, a growth capital investment firm. Oxx, with offices in London and Stockholm, will invest in B2B "scale-up" stage software companies in Europe and Israel. Anton is a former partner of Amadeus Capital while Johnsson was an adviser and venture partner at Amadeus.
