Zimperium Inc said June 7 that it closed $25 million in Series C funding led by Warburg Pincus. Existing investors Sierra Ventures, Telstra Ventures and Lazarus Israel Opportunities Fund LLLP also participated. San Francisco-based Zimperium provides a mobile threat management platform. Investors include Samsung.

Leonard Green & Partners LP said June 6 that it closed its seventh private equity investment fund with $9.6 billion of committed capital. Green Equity Investors VII LP exceeded its $9.1 billion target and hard cap. Leonard Green partners also committed $500 million to Fund GEI VII. Leonard Green's prior fund, GEI VI, closed in 2012 with committed capital of $6.25 billion. Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP served as fund counsel.

Expedition Capital Partners LLC also participated. Consolidated Waste Management, with offices in Columbus, Ohio and Hartford, Connecticut, is a waste broker.

SMS Assist said June 7 it raised $150 million in Series D funding from Goldman Sachs Investment Partners. Prior investors in SMS Assist include Insight Venture Partners and Pritzker Group Venture Capital. Chicago-based SMS Assist is a mobile and cloud-based multisite property management company.

Rothschild & Co (ROTH.PA) and Compagnie Financiere Martin Maurel (FNMM.PA) said they plan to merge, a move that will combine their French private banking and asset management businesses and create a private bank with combined assets under management of about 34 billion euros ($38.6 billion), Reuters News reported.

Power Horse, an energy drink, is available in more than 40 countries and is a leading brand amongst African and Middle Eastern consumers.
