IHS Inc. said Monday that it agreed to buy Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) for $650 million. UCG Holdings LP, the parent of Buyouts Insider, is the seller. Gaithersburg, Maryland-based OPIS provides U.S. refined petroleum pricing data, news and analytics. Centerview Partners advised OPIS.

A syndicate of new investors including Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JJDC Inc. and Caixa Capital Risc also invested.
