ILPA releases Fee Transparency Initiative

The Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) is trying to help increase transparency between LPs and GPs around fees and expenses with a new tool. The industry trade organization has released the Fee Transparency Initiative, which aims to establish more robust and consistent standards for fee and expense reporting and compliance disclosures among investors, fund managers and their advisers.

Wrap Media raises $12.7 mln

Wrap Media said Thursday it closed a $12.7 million Series B financing round led by Raine Ventures and ProSiebenSat.1 Media. Christopher Crain of Crain Communications, Dream Incubator, FF Angel LLC, Salesforce Ventures and Transmedia Capital also participated. San Francisco-based Wrap Media provides an interactive storytelling and commerce platform.

H.I.G. closes 7S Group sale to Manpower

H.I.G. Europe, the European arm of global private equity firm H.I.G. Capital, said it completed the sale of 7S Group to the Manpower Group. Financial terms weren’t announced. Jena, Germany-based 7S offers HR-related services like temporary staffing, business support services, and career services.

Riverside Company to buy Baker Hill

The Riverside Company said Tuesday it has agreed to buy Baker Hill, a division of Experian. Financial terms weren’t announced. Carmel, Indiana-based Baker Hill provides relationship management, credit-origination and risk-management solutions. Riverside said it plans to combine Baker Hill with portfolio company Database Marketing Agency Corp.

Riverside-backed BeneSys buys A&I Benefit Plan

BeneSys Inc., a portfolio company of The Riverside Company, has acquired A&I Benefit Plan Administrators. Financial terms weren’t announced. Portland-based A&I provides third-party administration for health and welfare and pension funds, as well as ancillary services such as COBRA and FSA administration. THL Credit and PNC provided financing for the transaction.

Levine Leichtman closes Trinity buy

Trinity Consultants said Thursday has closed its sale of a controlling stake to Levine Leichtman Capital Partners. Gryphon Investors was the seller. The deal was announced in August. Dallas-based Trinity is an environmental consulting firm that provides air quality compliance and permitting services. William Blair acted as lead advisor to Trinity and Gryphon, while Harris Williams and Lincoln International served as co-advisors on the transaction.

Tenex Capital, McCarthy Capital exit Medical Solutions

Beecken Petty O’Keefe & Company and Heritage Group have invested in Medical Solutions via a recapitalization. Tenex Capital Management and McCarthy Capital are the sellers. Financial terms weren’t announced. Omaha-based Medical Solutions is a healthcare staffing company.

BMW i Ventures invests in ZIRX

BMW i Ventures, the venture capital unit of BMW Group, has invested in ZIRX. Financial terms weren’t announced. San Francisco-based ZIRX is an on-demand parking and car services company. Prior investors include Bessemer Venture Partners, Norwest Venture Partners and Trinity Ventures.

Leonard Green-led group buys RestorixHealth

Sverica Capital Management LLC said Thursday that it completed the sale of RestorixHealth Inc. to an investment group led by Leonard Green & Partners LP. Financial terms weren’t announced. The other investors were also not announced. Tarrytown, New York -based RestorixHealth provides wound care management solutions to hospitals.

Ascensus winner expected soon as deal's lead banker moves on

The departure of the lead banker on the Asencus Inc auction did not put the breaks on the sale. In fact, a winner is expected to be announced in the next month, sources said.
