Seven Mile Capital buys Huron Inc.

Seven Mile Capital Partners said Wednesday it acquired Huron Inc. Trive Capital was the seller. Co-investors include Trent Capital Partners, Bratenahl Capital Partners and Ingleside Investors. Financial terms weren’t announced. Lexington, Michigan-based Huron engineers and makes complex tubular assemblies and precision machined components for the North American automotive industry. Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors provided debt financing.

RoundTable closes two funds with $850 mln

RoundTable Healthcare Partners said Wednesday it closed its fourth equity fund with $650 million in commitments, while its third captive subordinated debt fund collected $200 million. Lake Forest, Illinois-based RoundTable, a healthcare focused PE firm, said it added four new partners. Pierre Frechette and Thomas Kapfer, CEOs of existing RoundTable portfolio companies, were named Senior Operating Partners. Richard Adloff, the CFO of three RoundTable portfolio companies, was named an Operating Partner, while Andrew Hochman, previously a Principal, was promoted to Partner.

Ascensus winner expected soon as deal's lead banker moves on

The departure of the lead banker on the Asencus Inc auction did not put the breaks on the sale. In fact, a winner is expected to be announced in the next month, sources said.

Wells Fargo provides $100 mln warehouse funding to Pelican Auto Finance

Pelican Auto Finance LLC said Wednesday that it closed a $100 million warehouse funding facility with Wells Fargo Securities LLC. Pelican, a portfolio company of Flexpoint Ford LLC, is a specialty auto finance company.

Blackstone invests in PMI

The Blackstone Group has acquired a “significant” equity stake in the PMI Group. Financial terms weren’t announced. Blackstone has also agreed to provide PMI with a loan for working capital needs in exchange for warrants and certain other rights. PMI is the holding company for PMI Mortgage Insurance, which provides residential mortgage insurance coverage in the United States. Peter J. Solomon Company advised PMI while Blackstone Advisory Partners L.P. advised Blackstone.

VideoSurveillance.com merges with CamGuard

Riverlake Partners is backing the merger of VideoSurveillance.com with CamGuard. Financial terms weren’t announced. Portland-based VideoSurveillance.com is a video surveillance integration company. CamGuard, of Corona, California, provides video surveillance services.

Blue Point Capital buys Russell Food Equipment

Blue Point Capital Partners has acquired Russell Food Equipment Ltd. via a recapitalization. Financial terms weren’t announced. Vancouver, British Columbia-based Russell is a distributor, manufacturer and service provider of foodservice equipment and supplies in Canada.

Crosswise raises $3 mln

Crosswise said Wednesday that closed a $3 million Series A round of financing led by Pereq Ventures. ZhenFund, Emerge and existing investors Giza Venture Capital, OurCrowd and Horizons Ventures also participated. Tel Aviv, Israel-based Crosswise provides cross-device mapping data.

Williams, Story launch $50 mln VC fund Hangar Ventures

Jeff Williams and Jason Story have launched Hangar Ventures. Dallas-based Hangar is a $50 million venture fund that will provide early stage funding to technology companies. Williams was the founding partner of firms including KBK Mezzanine Partners, while Story launched Mutual Mobile.

DecisionSim raises $1.85 mln

DecisionSim Inc. said Wednesday that it raised $1.85 million in a Series A financing round. Rittenhouse Ventures contributed $1.5 million while $350,000 came from Ben Franklin Technology Partners. Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania-based DecisionSim provides simulation-based learning platforms.
