SeeClickFix said Tuesday it raised $1.4 million in a round led by Elm Street Ventures. O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures and Omidyar Network also invested while Connecticut Innovations and LaunchCapital participated. New Haven, Connecticut-based SeeClickFix is a communications platform for citizens to report non-emergency issues and for governments to manage and reply.

This included a $30 million Series 4 equity round and $25 million in debt financing from Hercules Technology Growth Capital Inc. Based in Greenville, South Carolina, Proterra is a maker of electric buses. Prior investors include Kleiner Perkins and GM Ventures.

Centerbridge Partners LP has agreed to buy KIK Custom Products from CI Capital Partners. Financial terms weren’t announced but Reuters valued the deal at $1.6 billion. Concord, Ontario-based KIK makes consumer packaged goods for brands and retailers. BMO Capital Markets is providing debt financing. Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Rothschild advised KIK while Barclays is providing financial advice to Centerbridge.

CVC Capital Partners said Wednesday it has entered into exclusive talks to buy Linxens from Astorg Partners. Financial terms weren’t announced although the Wall Street Journal pegged the deal at $1.66 billion. Guyancourt, France-based Linxens designs and makes smart card connectors.
