Aavid Corp, a portfolio company of the Audax Group, has acquired Kunze-Folien GmbH. Financial terms weren’t announced. Based in Oberhaching near Munich, Germany, Kunze designs, makes and integrates thermally conductive films, heat sinks, and transistor clips in power and other electronic environments.

HgCapital has acquired a majority stake in The Foundry for 200 million pounds (US$312 million). The Carlyle Group was the seller. London-based The Foundry provides software used by artists, designers and creative professionals.

Acxiom said Wednesday that it agreed to sell its IT Infrastructure Management business (Acxiom IT) to Charlesbank Capital Partners and M/C Partners for total cash consideration of up to $190 million. The $190 million is comprised of $140 million in cash at closing and up to $50 million in contingent payments subject to certain performance metrics.

Edo Interactive said Wednesday that it raised a $20 million Series E round of financing from existing major investors including VantagePoint Capital Partners, Baird Capital, and a number of Nashville-based investment firms. The combined company was renamed American Accessories. Bensalem, Pennsylvania-based American Belt provides men’s accessories, like belts and wallets and small leather goods. Financing for the transaction was provided by PNC Bank. HT Capital Advisors advised The American Belt Company.

Duluth, Georgia-based DiversiTech makes and distributes HVACR products for the repair, replacement and installation markets. TM Capital Corp. provided financial advice to DiversiTech.
