Fifth Street Management said Tuesday it is providing venture lending through its new group, Fifth Street Technology Partners. Michael David, former Co-Head and Managing Director of ORIX Venture Finance LLC, will lead the Silicon Valley-based group. The group plans to make structured and secured debt investments ranging from $5 million to $50 million in rapidly growing, later stage venture capital backed companies.

Trax Technology Solutions Pte Ltd said Tuesday it finalized an A round financing agreement with a Singapore private equity funds. Terms of the deal call for an immediate cash infusion of US$ 6.6 million, with an option for an additional US$ 15 million available over the next 18 months. Trax Tech, of Singapre, provides in-store auditing and shelf monitoring solutions for the consumer goods industry.

WestView Capital Partners has invested in DavexLabs LLC dba L'ANZA, a portfolio company of Caltius Equity Partners. CEO David Berglass participated in the transaction. Financial terms weren't announced. Santa Monica, Calif.-based DavexLabs is a hair care company exclusively dedicated to the professional salon channel. The deal team at Intrepid Investment Bankers, which included Steve Davis, Adam Abramowitz and Shahriar Attaie, advised DavexLabs.

Chanticleer Holdings has signed a binding letter of intent to acquire the Hooters restaurant in Nottingham, England for $3.15 million. The seller is West End Wings, Limited, another Hooters franchisee. In 2011, Chanticleer and a group of PE investors-- including H.I.G. Capital and KarpReilly--acquired Hooters of America.
