Centerbridge to buy Civitas Solutions for $1.4 bln

Centerbridge Partners LP said Dec. 18 that it agreed to buy Civitas Solutions Inc for about $1.4 billion or $17.75 a share cash. Sellers include Vestar Capital Partners. Civitas, of Boston, provides home and community health services to people with disabilities.
