Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund approves $30m in commitments

The US public pension has backed three North American private equity funds.

Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund has approved commitments of $10 million each to private equity funds P4G Capital Partners I, Estancia Capital Partners II and AUA Private Equity Fund II, a contact at the pension fund informed Private Equity International.

The $11.0 billion US public pension has a 5.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 2.90 percent.

As illustrated below, the fund has made four private equity commitments with a vintage year of 2018, which combined constitute $260 million.
