Connecticut Retirement approves $25m additional commitment

The US public pension has previously committed $50m to the fund.

Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds has approved an additional commitment of up to $25 million to Leeds Equity Partners VI, which will focus on small and lower middle market buyout transactions in the education, training and information services sectors.

The $33 billion US public pension has a 32 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 27.8 percent.
