Canada's Brookfield Asset Management is in talks to acquire a minority stake in BRK Ambiental, a Brazilian sanitation company, reported Reuters. The stake is owned by workers severance fund FGTS, which is managed by Caixa Economica Federal, a Brazilian state bank. The deal could the value the stake in BRK Ambiental at US$520 million.
