Caris Life Sciences said Oct. 1 that it raised $150 million in growth capital in the form of senior secured debt and convertible notes from TPG Sixth Street Partners. Caris, of Irving, Texas, is developing next generation profiling of the whole genome, whole transcriptome and the complete cancer proteome.

Twin Brook Capital Partners provided financing to support Incline Equity Partners' recapitalization of AFC Industries, according to a source familiar with the transaction. No financial terms were disclosed. Twin Brook served as an administrative agent for the financing. Pittsburgh-based AFC is a provider of supply chain management services and vendor-managed inventory programs to original equipment manufacturers. Incline first invested in AFC in March 2015.

Maranon Capital has provided a senior credit facility to Atlanta-based EyeSouth Partners, a provider of support services to eye care practices in the southeast U.S. No financial terms were disclosed. The capital will be used for growth and to support EyeSouth's partnership with Florida Eye Microsurgical Institute. EyeSouth is a portfolio company of Shore Capital Partners.

Blackstone Insurance Solutions Group has appointed Tsana Nobles as chief risk officer and Molly Sheinberg as marketing head. Nobles is the former head of global strategy, investments at XL Catlin while Sheinberg is a former executive director in J.P. Morgan Asset Management's global fixed income insurance solutions group. BIS is focused on providing private credit and investment management expertise to insurers.

Toronto-based BridgePoint Financial Services Inc, a provider of litigation financing solutions to plaintiffs and lawyers, has secured a $50 million credit facility from Northleaf Capital Partners. Also, Northleaf has made an undisclosed equity investment in BridgePoint. The capital infusion will be used for BridgePoint's recapitalization and growth.
