Disney and Apollo to sell Endemol Shine to Banijay Group

Banijay Group has agreed to acquire Dutch media company Endemol Shine Group from Apollo Global Management and The Walt Disney Company. No financial terms were disclosed; however, various media outlets tag the value of the deal at $2.2 billion. Kirkland & Ellis is advising Banijay Group on the debt financing while LionTree Advisors is serving as financial adviser to Endemol Shine Group.
