Green Pacific to take Canfor private
Green Pacific Capital Corp has agreed to take Canfor private for $16 per share. Greenhill served as financial adviser to the special committee comprised of Canfor's board of directors while DLA Piper (Canada) LLP served as legal counsel to Canfor with Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP providing legal counsel to the special committee. Vancouver, British Columbia-based Canfor is an forest products company. Green Pacific Capital Corp is an investment arm of the Jim Pattison Group.
