Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund has approved commitments of $75 million to ABRY Advanced Securities Fund IV, $40 million to Versant Ventures VII and $20 million to Versant Medical Technology.
The $41 billion US public pension has a 7 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 3.7 percent.
