Innovation Works collects almost $24 mln for early-stage Pittsburgh tech fund
Pittsbugh-based Innovation Works has raised nearly $24 million for its newest fund Riverfront Ventures. The pool's LPs include the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Carnegie Mellon University, the City of Pittsburgh, the University of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Foundation. Riverfront Ventures focuses on local early-stage tech firms from a variety of sectors, such as information technology, medical devices, healthcare IT and robotics.
