Talk of US firm Bruckmann Rosser Sherrill’s demise is greatly exaggerated, says Stephen Sherrill, as it pledges to launch a fourth fund possibly targeting $400m.

Los Angeles-based Black Canyon Capital and New York-based Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Company and have generated a roughly 50% IRR on their investment in Logan’s Roadhouse.

The two New York-based firms have made a majority investment in Bravo Development, which operates 50 Italian restaurants across the country.

Bruckmann Rosser Sherrill & Company and GB Merchant Partners have exited their investment in gift chain Things Remembered, ‘an extremely complicated transaction’ according to GBMP partner Jamie Dworkin.

Harold Rosser, co-founder of Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Company, has established mid-market firm Rosser Capital Partners.
