Management Employees Pension Plan

Management Employees Pension Plan (MEPP) was established in 1972 to provide pension services to managers in the Alberta provincial public service, approved agencies, boards and commissions. Its assets are managed by Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), formerly part of the Alberta Department of Finance. AIMCo aids the Alberta Minister of Finance in the investment management of the Plan, and invests MEPP’s assets for the benefit of its members, subject to legislation and the SIPP recommended by the Board.

This institution is a global alternative asset manager with a multi-decade track record across private markets. The firm invests on behalf of institutional partners through a family of strategies spanning several asset classes and regions. Its teams operate from offices around the world, working with investors and portfolio companies over long holding periods. Subscribe for the full profile, background and analysis.
