Malaysia-based private equity firm closes two funds.

Navis Capital has raised a total of $1.35 billion between two of its vehicles. Navis Asia Fund VIII raised $900 million and the capital raised will be invested in companies within Southeast Asia, Australia, Hong Kong and China. In terms of the sector, the fund will focus on healthcare, private-education and consumer goods industries.

Navis Asia Green Loop Fund raised $450 million and the capital raised will be invested within TMT companies in Asia.
