New York State Common Retirement Fund approves $485m in commitments

The US public pension has backed three private equity funds.

New York State Common Retirement Fund has approved commitments of $5 million to NFX Capital Fund II, $280 million to TA XIII and $200 million to Clearlake Opportunities Partners II, according to the pension’s May monthly report.

The $210.20 billion US public pension has a 10.0 percent target allocation to private equity which currently stands at 9.10 percent.

New York State Common Retirement Fund has made seven commitments to private equity funds with a 2019 vintage, which combined constitute $801.67 million.
