NYSCRF approves over $400m in commitments

The US public pension has backed buyout and venture funds.

In April 2018, NYSCRF disclosed a series of fund commitments amounting to more than $400 million. The retirement fund contributed $200 million to Siris Partners IV, $10 million to Carmel Ventures V, $12 million to Anchor Equity Partners Fund III, $175 million to ADV Opportunities II, $21 million to Sycamore Partners III and $20 million to Argand Partners Fund I.

The $207 US public pension has a 10 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 7.8 percent.
