PE-backed Italmatch to buy Water Science Technologies

Italmatch Chemicals, a portfolio company of Bain Capital Private Equity, has agreed to acquire Birmingham, Alabama-based Water Science Technologies, a blender and chemical solutions provider for the North American oil and gas and industrial water treatment industries. No financial terms were disclosed.
