PennSERS approves approximately $250m in commitments

The US public pension has backed South Korea-, Europe- and North America-focused funds.

Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System has approved commitments of €80 million to ICG Europe Fund VII, $75 million to ICG North American Private Debt Fund II, $50 million to Hahn & Company III and up to $25 million to Hahn & Company III Co-Investment.

The $26 billion US public pension has a 16 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 15.2 percent.
