Private equity funds return 9.1 pct for endowments in 2013, lag others
Private equity investments by college and university endowments delivered an average return of 9.1 percent in 2013, falling short of the 11.7 percent jump in overall portfolios and reversing a year-ago outperformance by the asset class, according to a closely-watched annual survey by the NACUBO-Commonfund Study of Endowments.
