Quantum Energy Partners raises $5.6 bn

Quantum Energy Partners held its final closing on Quantum Energy Partners VII (QEP VII) and its affiliates above its hard-cap with $5.6 billion in commitments, according to a press release.

Quantum was advised by Sidley and will continue to focus on investments in the exploration and production of oil and gas assets. The General Partner, with its affiliates, has managed more than $16 billion of equity commitments since 1998.

QEP VI previously closed at $4.45 billion in July 2015.
