Silverfleet Capital has hired Peter Kisenyi as an investment executive in London and Vincent Clément has joined as an associate in its Paris office, according to a statement from the firm.
Kisenyi joins the European buyout firm from independent investment banking firm Greenhill & Co, which specialises in mergers and acquisitions, while Clément arrives from the Paris office of Lazard where he was an associate.
Silverfleet has also made promotions in its Munich office. Klaus Maurer who joined the firm in 2009 and Falko Westphalen who joined in 2010 were both promoted to the position of principal.
Silverfleet is currently investing its second fund that closed in June on €850 million, above its €700 million target, as reported by Private Equity International.
Its first fund, a €670 million, 2009-vintage vehicle, closed its investment period in December 2014. There is capital remaining for follow-on investments but not new ones, PEI reported.
Silverfleet’s second fund follows the same strategy, deal sizes, sectors and geographies as its earlier vehicle.
Silverfleet focuses on international businesses with an enterprise value of €75 million to €250 million in four defined sectors: business and financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and retail, and leisure and consumer products. It pursues buy-and-built, roll out or expansion strategies.
