State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio has approved a commitment of $100 million to Summit Partners Growth Equity Fund X, a contact at the pension fund informed Private Equity International.

The $77.03 billion US public pension has a 7.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 8.30 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, the fund has made five private equity commitments with a vintage year of 2018 and 2019, which combined constitute $450 million.
