Stirling Square Capital Partners has created a two-strong investor relations team, based in the firm’s London office.
Pascal Monteiro de Barros, who will be partner in charge of IR, will develop and maintain the firm’s international client relationships, and aspects of firm strategy. He will also oversee communications and external relations, and contribute the firm’s investing activity across Iberia.
He joins the firm from placement agent MAB Partners where he was also a partner. At MAB, he worked with large institutions, wealth management firms and family offices globally on placing investments.
Charlotte Woltz will work alongside de Barros on strengthening the firm’s international investor base. She has recently completed her MBA at Harvard Business School, after working at New York-based hedge fund Highbridge Capital Management.
The pan-European firm closed its third fund in early January after raising €600 million. It typically invests in mid-market companies with enterprise values of between €50 million and €500 million. The firm manages three funds and a number of co-investment positions, and has over €1 billion in assets under management.
