Stirling Square Capital Partners raises €600m

The London mid-market private equity firm held first close on its fourth buyout fund.

Stirling Square Capital Partners held a first close for its Stirling Square Capital Partners IV at €600 million. The fund was launched last year with a target €$1 billion target.

The fund’s predecessor, Stirling Square Capital Partners III was closed in 2015 at €600 million.

Similar to its predecessor fund’s investment strategy, the firm will use the latest vehicle’s capital to make buyout deals in a diverse number of sectors across Europe
