Vestar Backs Newbie Lithos

Lithos Capital Partners, a new private equity firm with a focus on small- and middle-market financial services investments, has hit the playing field. The nescient LBO firm, headed by former Pacific Exchange Chairman and CEO Philip DeFeo, is backed financially by Vestar Capital Partners. DeFeo is joined by Lithos Co-founder David Chow, a former partner at Castle Harlan.
