YFM Equity Partners raises £60m

The UK-based private equity investor has held an initial close for its second buyout fund.

YFM Equity Partners has held a first close for its second buyout fund, YFM Equity Partners Buyout Fund II, at £60 million ($76million; €68 million). The fund, which has a target size of £75 million, will follow the same strategy as its predecessor of investing between £3 million to £7 million in UK businesses where there has been a change of ownership with strong growth potential.

Second and final closes are expected before the end of 2019, with the fund investing over a similar period to Buy-Out I, into 2022.

YFM Equity Partners Buyout Fund I held a final close at £46 million in May 2017 and counted the Nottinghamshire Pension Fund among its investors.
