InstarAGF invests $75 mln in Steel Reef Infrastructure

InstarAGF Asset Management last month made a $75 million investment in Steel Reef Infrastructure Corp, a Canadian midstream company that owns and operates processing and transportation facilities for oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids. The deal gave InstarAGF a minority interest in Steel Reef, entitling InstarAGF President and CEO Greg Smith with a seat on the company's board. Toronto-based InstarAGF, an investor in infrastructure and real assets, raised an initial $372 million for its flagship fund in March.
