Amdocs to Buy Actix in $120 Mln Deal

Amdocs has agreed to buy Actix for about $120 million in cash. The boards of Actix and Amdoc have approved the deal, which is expected to close by the end of September. London-based Actix creates software platforms that help mobile operators to deliver better customer experiences. Summit Partners invested in Actix in 2005.
