Apax Buys Golden Jaguar Restaurant Chain

Apax Partners has acquired the buffet-style Golden Jaguar restaurant chain, based in Shanghai, China. Located in eight cities across China, the restaurants are giant – roughly the size of a football field – and are often the anchor store for large shopping malls. Terms of the deal were not released. Credit Suisse advised Apax on the transaction.
