GlobeLTR Energy Inc, a portfolio company of Clearlake Capital Group LP, said Sept. 7 that it has sold its well servicing division to Brigade Energy Services LLC. Financial terms weren’t announced. Brigade is a Turnbridge Capital Partners LLC portfolio company. Parks Paton Hoepfl & Brown LLC provided financial advice to Clearlake, GlobeLTR.

Clearlake Capital Group LP said Sept. 7 that it has recapitalized FloWorks International LLC in partnership with the company existing financial sponsor, TowerBrook Capital Partners LP. Financial terms weren’t announced. FloWorks, of Houston, is a specialty industrial distributor of pipe, valves, and fittings and related technical solutions to the energy and industrial sectors.

Turo said Sept. 6 that it raised $92 million in Series D funding led by Daimler and SK Holding. Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures and Founders Circle Capital joined the financing. Existing investors August Capital, Canaan Partners, Kleiner Perkins, GV, Trinity Ventures and Shasta Ventures also invested. Turo, of San Francisco, is a peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace. Turo said it is also buying Croove, a peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace in Germany from Daimler.

Essling Capital said Sept. 6 that it has hired the Funds of Funds team of Amundi Private Equity. Joining Essling are: Jean-Yves Lagache, Nizar Chayeb, Cédric Cabarrus and Sandra Saad. Lagache and Chayeb are investment directors while Cabarrus and Saad are senior investment managers. Essling, of Paris, is an asset manager that launched in April.

Nasdaq said Sept. 5 that it is buying eVestment for $705 million. Nasdaq said it would fund the deal through a mix of debt and cash on hand. Insight Venture Partners is one of the sellers. Buyouts reported last month that Nasdaq was one of the bidders for eVestment, which provides institutional investment data and analytics.
