ACV Auctions raises $15 mln

ACV Auctions said March 8 that it raised $15 million in venture funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from existing investors. ACV, of Buffalo, New York, provides a mobile platform that enables used-car dealers to view, bid and purchase car inventory via online auctions.

Dynamic Dental Partners Group, a Huron Capital portfolio company, has acquired Dental Partners LLC. Financial terms weren’t announced. Dental Partners, of Melbourne, Florida, provides support services to 18 dental practices in Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida and Georgia.

Francisco Partners invests $200 mln in iconectiv

Francisco Partners is investing $200 million for a 16.7 percent stake in iconectiv. Ericsson is the seller. Iconectiv, of Piscataway Township, New Jersey, develops solutions that enable operators to interconnect networks.

QIC Global Infrastructure Fund closes at $1.78 bln

QIC said March 6 that its latest infrastructure fund closed at its hard cap of $2.35 billion Australian dollars ($1.78 billion). The target of QIC Global Infrastructure Fund was $1.75 billion Australian dollars. LPs include institutional investors such as Hostplus, an Asian sovereign wealth fund and a Chinese insurer.

Lemnos launches third $50 mln fund

Lemnos on March 7 said it has launched its third fund with $50 million. The pool will focus on hardware and software surrounding hardware. Lemnos, of San Francisco, focuses on pre-seed and seed round funding and prefers to lead or co-lead rounds ranging from $500,000 to $3 million.

KKR Americas XII Fund raises $13.9 bln

KKR said March 6 that its latest flagship fund closed at $13.9 billion. KKR will be investing nearly $1.4 billion in capital alongside investors through the firm's balance sheet and employee commitments. KKR Americas XII Fund will target opportunistic investments in private equity-related transactions primarily in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Accion Frontier Inclusion Fund raises $141 mln

Accion and Quona Capital said March 5 that Accion Frontier Inclusion Fund has closed with $141 million in commitments. Accion Frontier Inclusion Fund, a fintech pool for the underserved, will focus on emerging markets in sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Asia (with a particular emphasis on India and Southeast Asia).The Accion Frontier Inclusion Fund is managed by Quona Capital. Investors include AXA Impact Fund, JPMorgan Chase & Co and TIAA Investments, an affiliate of Nuveen.

Actis Energy 4 raises $2.75 bln

Actis said March 6 that its fourth energy fund closed at its $2.75 billion hard cap. Actis Energy 4 will invest in select countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia, while targeting control investments in electricity generation and electricity distribution businesses.
