Plumgrid said Wednesday that Marty Bradford has joined as CFO. Most recently, Bradford served as CFO at Quorum. Santa Clara, California-based Plumgrid provides secure cloud networks for public and private clouds. Investors include Longworth Venture Partners, U.S. Venture Partners, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Qualcomm Ventures and Swisscom Ventures.

Ludvik Holdings Inc. has acquired a majority of Unitiv Inc. Financial terms weren’t announced. The deal includes a financing commitment to Unitiv of up to $5 million. Cummings, Georgia-based Unitiv provides data center infrastructure solutions, cloud solutions, OEM and third party support solutions, including staffing services.

Datavail raised $47 million in funding led by Catalyst Investors. Tahosa Capital and Lumerity Capital Partners participated in the round, as did existing investors Boulder Ventures, Meritage Funds and MC Investment Fund. Broomfield, Colorado-based Datavail provides remote database administration services in North America, offering 24×7 managed database services, database design, architecture, and staffing.
