SportPursuit.com raises $14.37 mln

SportPursuit.com said Monday that it raised $9.5 million pounds(US$14.37 million) from Scottish Equity Partners, Grafton Capital and Draper Esprit. London-based SportPursuit.com operates flash sales of sports gear, which last up to a week.

Atlas Holdings exits Pangborn Group

United Generations LLC said Friday that it has acquired Pangborn Group from Atlas Holdings LLC. Financial terms weren’t announced. Fairburn, Georgia-based Pangborn designs, makes and supplies surface preparation equipment and related aftermarket parts and services. McNally Capital acted as financial advisor to United Generations.

McCarthy Capital exits Benaissance

McCarthy Capital said Thursday it sold its stake in Benaissance to Wex Inc. Financial terms weren’t announced. Omaha-based Benaissance provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) technologies and services for healthcare premium billing, payment and workflow management. Wex, in a separate statement, said it completed the acquisition of Benaissance.

TCV leads $75 mln Series B for Datto

Datto has raised $75 million in Series B funding led by Technology Crossover Ventures. Norwalk, Connecticut-based Datto provides data backup, recovery and business continuity solutions.

PresenceLearning raises $25 mln

PresenceLearning Inc. has raised $25 million in Series C funding led by Catalyst Investors. Existing investors Birchmere Ventures, Blue Heron Capital, Catamount Ventures and New Markets Venture Partners also participated in the round. Catalyst Partner & Co-Founder Ryan McNally has joined the company’s board of directors. San Francisco-based PresenceLearning provides live online speech therapy.

Flexpoint Ford promotes four execs

Flexpoint Ford LLC said Wednesday that it promoted four investment professionals -- Daniel Edelman, Michael Fazekas, Steven Michienzi, and Michael Vostrizansky -- to Principal. Flexpoint also hired Kara O'Brien as Vice President of Investor Relations.

Umbel raises $20 mln

Umbel said Wednesday it raised $20 million in a Series B financing round led by Cielo Private Equity. Other new and existing investors also took part. Austin-based Umbel is a customer data platform.

Mister Car Wash buys Auto Spa Express

Mister Car Wash, a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners LP, has acquired Auto Spa Express. Financial terms weren’t announced. Aurora, Colorado-based Auto Spa is a double tunnel, exterior only car wash.

Clearlake Capital closes Syncsort buy

Clearlake Capital Group LP said Wednesday it closed its buy of Syncsort Inc. Financial terms of the deal, announced in October, weren’t announced. Golub Capital provided financing. Woodcliff, New Jersey-based is an enterprise software provider. Syncort’s investors had included Insight Venture Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, Georgian Partners, and other shareholders. Evercore served as financial advisor to Clearlake. BofA Merrill Lynch and Pillar Capital Advisors acted as financial advisors to Syncsort.
