Partners Group raise $500 mln equity for Fermaca

Partners Group said Thursday it raised an additional $500 million equity for portfolio company, Fermaca. Based in Cuidad de Mexico, D.F., Fermaca builds, owns and operates pipelines and other related energy assets in Mexico.

JZ Capital, RedSky add Brooklyn property

JZ Capital Partners Ltd. said Thursday it acquired 192 Bedford Avenue, located in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. RedSky Capital LLC also invested. The purchase price was $12.3 million. The deal included $9.3 million equity of which JZ provided $7 million.

ABRY to buy Sentry Data Systems

ABRY Partners is buying Sentry Data Systems Inc., a provider of technology to help healthcare providers reduce costs, according to a source and a May 4 notice on the FTC web site.

NBIF invests $500,000 in MycoDev Group

The New Brunswick Innovation Foundation said Wednesday that it invested $500,000 in MycoDev Group Inc. Fredericton, New Brunswick-based MycoDev produces a biopolymer called chitosan that can stop bleeding in 20 seconds.

Zanbato raises $8 mln

Zanbato Inc. said Wednesday that it raised $8 million in Series B funding led by AITV (Accelerate-IT Ventures), with participation from existing investor Formation 8 and several prominent families and venture capitalists. Mountain View, California-based Zanbato provides a platform to create efficient private markets and boost private placements.

Jensen Hughes merges with Erin Engineering and Research

Jensen Hughes Inc., a portfolio company of Huron Capital Partners LLC has merged with Erin Engineering and Research Inc. The merged company will provide specialty engineering and consulting services and have combined revenues of more than $150 million.

Adderton named CEO of 360fly

360fly Inc. said Wednesday that Peter Adderton was named CEO. Adderton founded Boost Mobile in 2000 and most recently served as CEO of Mandalay Digital. 360fly, which is backed by Catterton, is a single lens camera that lets users capture the world in a 360 degree video format.

Bone Biologics raises $2 mln

Bone Biologics Corp. said Wednesday it completed a $2 million funding round with Hankey Capital LLC. Edison, New Jersey-based Bone Biologics IS developing a proprietary protein for use in bone regenerative medicine.

908 Devices raises $11.6 mln

908 Devices said Wednesday its closed $11.6 million in Series C funding. Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures (SAEV), the corporate venturing subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s National Oil Company, Saudi Aramco, led the round. Prior investors ARCH Venture Partners, Razor’s Edge Ventures, University of Tokyo Edge Capital (UTEC) and Schlumberger also participated. Boston-based 908 Devices researches, designs and makes innovative products based on High-Pressure Mass Spectrometry.
