EnCap Flatrock Midstream said Wednesday that Gregory King has joined the firm as a senior advisor. King served as the president of Valero Energy Corp. from 2003 to 2007.

Hawthorne Global Aviation Services said Wednesday that Bryon Burbage was named President, in addition to his role as CFO. Moelis Capital Partners and Hawthorne Corp. launched Hawthorne Global, which provides general aviation services, in 2010.

Landmark Partners said Wednesday it closed its latest real estate secondaries fund at $1.6 billion. Landmark Real Estate Fund VII was oversubscribed and exceeded its $1 billion initial target. Investors include public pensions, corporate pensions, insurance companies, asset managers and foundations located globally.

Militello Capital has made a follow-on investment in Nexercise. Financial terms weren’t announced. Baltimore-based Nexercise has developed a fitness app, Sworkit.

The Center for Innovative Technology said Wednesday that its CIT GAP funds have invested in e-Kare Inc. Financial terms weren’t announced. Fairfax, Virginia-based e-Kare has developed a point-of-care subscription service that allows for 3-dimensional wound assessment on a mobile device.

Cubic Telecom raises $20.2 mln

Audi Electronics Venture GmbH (AEV), a subsidiary of AUDI AG , and Qualcomm Inc. have invested 18 million Euros (US$20.2 million) in Cubic Telecom. Dublin-based Cubic Telecom provides a Machine to Machine (M2M) connectivity platform. Cubic’s existing investors include Sierra Wireless, ACT Venture Capital, TPS Investment Ltd and Enterprise Ireland.

Generator Ventures and Ziegler Link·age Longevity Funds have invested in CareLinx Inc. The company said Tuesday that it raised $5 million in total capital. San Bruno, California-based CareLinx, which specializes in home care for the elderly and the chronically ill, is an online marketplace that links families to caregivers who match their needs and budget requirements.

H.I.G. Realty buys Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis, Plantation Ridge

H.I.G. Realty Partners said Wednesday that it has acquired the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana. H.I.G. Realty also bought Plantation Ridge in Atlanta, Georgia. H.I.G. Realty is the real estate platform of H.I.G. Capital LLC.

SFW Capital Fund II raises more than $345 mln

SFW Capital Partners said Wednesday that its second fund closed at its hard cap with more than $345 million in commitments. SFW, of Rye, New York, invests in mid-size Analytical Tools and Related Services companies, including providers of instrumentation, information and software, and related business services. SFW Fund II will seek to make equity investments of $10 million to $75 million.

H.I.G. Realty sells apartment portfolio for $131.5 mln

H.I.G. Realty Partners said Wednesday it sold an eleven building, 296 unit rental apartment portfolio for $131.5 million. The portfolio is located in New York City. H.I.G. Realty, the real estate platform of H.I.G. Capital, acquired the portfolio in November 2012 for $73 million.
